To support Allstate’s goal of reinventing home insurance, we created the GoodHome. This fully responsive experience uses cutting-edge technology to give users a better idea of the risks their homes face and also how to help prepare better.
Google StreetView was used to provide a fully-immersive experience that pans around the user’s home and the surrounding area. Important information, such as common and costly claims, current weather, and energy costs are displayed in interesting ways. Then tips are provided for each point, giving the user actionable items that they can do themselves.
Once the experience is complete, the user is landed on a dashboard that contains their results and more helpful tips and articles.
This was a great way to establish Allstate as more than just an insurance company, and provided real value and a sense of trust that is a hard thing to do in this industry. The results have been pretty amazing, with Allstate prospects who use the tool 378% more likely to get a quote than those who do not.
